With his bandmates from the 90's incarnation of Apokaful going on to founding startups, international relations, and running a major recording studio, Jeffrey Marcus Oshins updates the band's sound with a mix of electronica and trance. One notable exception is the inclusion of the 90's recorded Eye of the Archer which was laid down in one take at Beagle Studios in Santa Barbara by Oshins on a wonderful old grand piano that once belonged to famed Hollywood conductor Carmen Dragon and produced by his son Dennis Dragon.
On the video for Cut to Sand, Oshins utilizes footage of the Colorado River filmed in and around Castle Valley, Utah in a meditation on the power of water.
